About Quove Accounting
We’re fast moving.
Our principal qualified in the middle of the early 90’s recession. He helped businesses survive that, as well as the post 9-11 downturn. He was working in the City overlooking a Northern Rock branch in 2008! And like the person reading this, is living through the COVID pandemic.
He is known as ‘The Positive Accountant’ and blogs under that name www.positiveaccountant.com
At times like this you need to know your advisers have been there, done that. Adrian has.
A positive solution finder, he is the kind of guy you want on your side.
As a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with a personality (rare in itself), you’ll like him, trust him, and soon realise that there is little that phases him out.

What does a Quove client look like?
We don’t have a one size fits all. What we look for in a client is someone:-
• we can relate to
• who values our opinions and advice
• that we can get on with
• that can pay us a fair, value for money fee, in return for excellent, above and beyond service
Our clients tend to fall into the following categories:-
• Successful, and who enjoy the fruits of their success
• Asset rich and cash poor
• Entrepreneurial risk takers

Meet our Principal
You can tell a lot about a firm from the people. In our case, you’ll get a great flavour of what we’re about from the person at the top – our principal, Adrian Mole.
Let’s get the burning questions dealt with first…
Yes, that is his real name.
No, he’s not 13 3/4 (but he was when the book came out).
And no, he didn’t write it.
Adrian is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Along the way, he won the PASS magazine’s Trainee Accountant of the Year Award. If that wasn’t enough, he is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Before founding Quove in 2010, he was a partner in one of East Anglia’s leading independent firms before being headhunted (twice) into partnerships at top-ten accounting firms.
Chartered Accountants aren’t known for adventure and risk-taking, right?
Wrong!
Adrian is a keen pilot, and loves flying through the clouds in his Cessna.
If that wasn’t enough, holidays always involve scuba diving, with a log book that records dives all over the world, including searching for hammerhead sharks off Sharm El Sheikh. His best diving experience ever was a drift in Divers Dream, Tobago. The briefing went along the lines of ‘get this wrong and you end up in Venezuela’.
He will admit to owning a grey suit, but has been known to strut in front of strangers wearing tight Lycra and sequins. (We should explain, he is a former Ballroom and Latin competitor, is a qualified instructor and, as well as running Quove, also runs a dance school www.ballroomexperience.co.uk.)
Married to Debbie (also an accountant), they have two daughters, two Cocker Spaniels and a pondful of goldfish.
